Children have a Right to have Life Insurance Regardless

When the insurance company I choose was ready to sell me a policy for my child, they find out my child has juvenile diabetes, I was not be surprised when they turned me down. When you are turned down for life insurance, it is a disheartening feeling. Your thoughts are, if you cannot get a policy for your child when they are young, how they are going to get one when they are an adult.

A youngster can have any number of illnesses such as, diabetes, joint pain or juvenile rheumatoid arthritis or JRA. These diagnoses are not going to disappear. These diagnoses must be managed throughout the child’s life. Some insurance companies feel that the child is only going to get worse as they reach adulthood, which is why many get turned down for preexisting conditions.

Life Insurance is Magic

I think life insurance is pure magic. I bought life insurance for myself several years ago so I could better protect my family in the event that I should die. Some life insurances do not have an accumulation of cash benefit and others do. I have been paying into my life insurance policy for some time now, and when I need extra money, there it is, just like magic.

I knew that after I have had the policy for a while, I could make a loan against this life insurance policy. The money from my life insurance policy is there when I need it. I do have to pay back the funds I borrow or I will get less when I really need the policy.

• Funds for a new home

• Funds for home repairs

• Funds for the kids for college

• Funds for emergency medical bills

• Funds to pay off the home

• Funds for a trip

Life Insurance is like magic. One minute there is no money the next there can be a TON of it!
Life Insurance is like magic. One minute there is no money the next there can be a TON of it!

The extra funds from my life insurance policy show up just like magic to take care of immediate needs. Life insurance policies are not just for the end of life. A life insurance policy can protect you when you need extra cash.

Just like magic, it is there to pay for the end of life expenses.

Zits Are the Pits, But They’re Not the End of the World

So most people think of acne, aka zits as a teenager issue. Believe it or not, a lot of adults deal with acne. Just take a look at some commercials on television. Many of the acne products are aimed at kids, they are aimed at adults. Because there are a lot of 40-year-old women and men who are thinking, “Shouldn’t this have ended with puberty?”

But, even though zits are annoying and can require treatments other than obsessive face washing and acne cream, that doesn’t mean it is enough to disqualify you from getting life insurance. No, seriously, people actually think that some conditions will prevent them from getting life insurance.

This is hardly what I would consider acne, but some do!
This is hardly what I would consider acne, but some do!

Well, that might be the case, but zits isn’t one of them, so throw on the blemish coverup and get to a local agent and protect yourself and your family.

Life Insurance for Ailments Starting With F

We all know that insurance is important. Medical insurance helps when we get sick. Homeowners insurance pays if something happens to your house. Auto insurance so you can get your car fixed it you wreck it. People get these insurances, pay the premiums and don’t think much about what it takes to be approved for it. It’s as if people automatically assume they qualify for it. I mean, it’s insurance. Everyone can qualify for insurance. All kinds.

But some people exclude one type of insurance from the "obviously I can get it" category…

Many people seem to think that just because they have some ailment, they cannot get life insurance. However, this is not the case. For example, just because a person has Fibromyalgia, this does not mean they cannot get life insurance. As for foot pain, it’s problematic for walking, but not for obtaining life insurance.

Even if you fracture a bone, it won’t break an insurance company’s trust in you to give you life insurance. Unless of course you broke your leg jumping out an airplane, but even then you could still get life insurance, you’d just have to pay more for it.

So, there’s no need to think you can’t get life insurance just because you have an injury of suffer from an ailment. And for the most part, you won’t suffer a fainting spell when you get your insurance quote. Of all the insurances, life insurance is the most affordable. It’s also one of the most important.

Why I love insurance

If you have bought a new car or a new home in the past few months and have had some kind of damage happen to it, then you know the love that some have for insurance. An insurance policy is deigned to help repair your belongings if they are ever damaged in an accident or storm. Below are some other reasons why insurance is a great thing to own.

The Benefits of Insurance

  • Insurance covers medical costs for people to visit the doctor. It can also help pay for the expensive procedures that come up from time to time.
  • The policy can pay for damages to your car or help replace the car if it is ever totaled.
  • The premiums you pay go into a larger pool of money that is held until you have a claim. It is like a savings account.
  • It can help cover the costs associated with the end of life. Things that can be covered are funeral costs, burial costs, hospital bills and many other expensive details.

An insurance policy only makes sense when you consider what it can do for you. Some things in life are very expensive and if you are not prepared the expenses can set you back financially for many years. Take the time and go over your life situation and make sure that everything is covered the way it should be.

Never Let an Ilness Keep You from Buying Life Insurance

There are many necessities in life, and a life insurance policy is one of those necessities. Have you tried to get a policy but, because of one of these diagnoses, you were turned down? Consequently you gave up the notion of life insurance. Did your doctor diagnose you with Cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD) , Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) , Celiac Disease, Cervical Cancer, Cholesterol, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) , Colon Cancer, or Crohn’s Disease?

A diagnosis of this sort is nothing to be ashamed about as millions of people nationwide suffer from one of these illnesses. Life insurance is available for everyone, regardless of medical conditions. There are thous ands of different life insurance policies on the market today.

If an insurance company or agent says that you cannot get life insurance because you suffer from these listed illnesses, this is an incorrect assumption on their part.

My friend’s doctor gave her a couple of these diagnoses, Celiac Disease, Cholesterol, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). After these illnesses were recorded into her medical record, my friend decided it was time to buy a life insurance policy, and she was turned down four times.

There are hundreds life insurance policies available. Most do not require a physical or medical record review. She was able to buy two $10,000 policies. She figured this was enough for final expenses, with enough left over to help her husb and with some bills.

Never let an insurance agent or company cause you embarrassment because you cannot get life insurance. There is always a policy available to fit your needs and budget.

Why I Love My Insurance Agent

Why do I love my insurance agent?

What’s not to love?

First of all, it is not easy being an insurance agent. Any insurance agent must care deeply about their families to go through the prospecting, presentations and many, many, many rejections. These people got Moxi and I love it.

Then you have to take into account they are survivors. They have been taken on by a whole host of virtual alternatives including a green lizard and a pale, slightly plump gal named Flo, and they keep on keepin’ on. What’s not to love?

I also love them because they know a language of their own. It’s not quite pig-Latin but it is close. Beneficiaries, actuaries, loss mitigation, and mortality tables all just bring a flutter to my heart. Whisper them and I’m yours.

Mainly I love them because through all of this, they are the heroes when it comes time to helping a family that is going through a very dark time. I love them because they provide financial help when a car accident occurs, when there is a house fire, when medical issues arise, or even when a loved one passes on. They are a beacon of hope to help in a desperate time.

The next time you deal with an insurance agent, remember that they are trying to help you. You may just begin to love them as much as I do.

“A” Illness Might Not Be an Illness

Addie had a fondness for searching for interesting ailments on the Internet. The problem with her hobby was that she managed to convince herself that she had whatever she was reading about. The interesting thing was that she could point to something in her life to prove her assertion, which made it hard for her friends to convince her otherwise. Here is a snippet of a week with Addie and WebMD…

Monday – I couldn’t sit still and concentrate for the life of me while I drank my third cup of coffee. I think I might have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD/ADD). I’m going to get a Coke and ponder this further.

Tuesday – All I wanted to do was sit in my house and watch season three of Downton Abbey. I ignored my phone, and I think someone knocked on my door. I didn’t get up to look because I was too busy reading about Antisocial Personality Disorder.

Wednesday – I climbed a ladder to change a light bulb, got dizzy and almost fell. Could it be altitude sickness? When I barely caught myself, I began to wheeze. My allergies are acting up, so maybe it was my asthma.

Thursday – My favorite show, The Big Bang Theory came on! I love Sheldon. I read somewhere that he has Aspergers Syndrome. That’s a type of autism, isn’t it? I’ll have to look it up on the web later.

Friday – I took a good look in the mirror today. I need to go on a diet. Not liking how you look…isn’t that a symptom of Anorexia Nervosa?

In all likelihood, Addie doesn’t have any of these ailments or conditions, but even if she did, this would not prevent her from getting life insurance. Most people think life insurance is something you can put off until later. But here’s the thing: we don’t know when our time will come or how we will leave this planet, so it’s best to plan now…while we still can. Or in Addie’s case, while she is still here to wonder what, if anything she has.

So, to all the Addies in the world, relax. You’re fine. But prepare…just in case.

Why I Love Disability Insurance

Disability insurance is one of those provisions that you just know you will never need, but you buy it any why. As I neared retirement I had to have surgery, and this surgery would not allow me to continue in the career job I had been into for over 35 years.

I had five years before retirement and still had a mortgage on my home for at least ten more years.
When I took out my mortgage 20 years ago, I had purchased a mortgage insurance policy for my house. This insurance is now paying my monthly mortgage payments. I never felt that me of all people need this kind of coverage. To tell you the truth it was a wise decision on my part. No one can foresee what is going to happen in the future.

Fortunately for me my employee disability insurance is paying me 60 percent of my baseline wages per month. Some policies may differ sightly, but this what my policy paid. This helped me a great deal when I added it to my wife’s income.

I applied for Social Security Disability and was awarded full retirement. Along with my mortgage insurance, my wife and I are going to be all right. I highly recommend disability insurance. You never know what the future holds, so it is best to be protected. You may be sorry if you do not take the proper steps to secure your future with disability insurance.
