Rancho Park, is a single-family, tree-lined neighborhood in the West Los Angeles area of California. It sits between Westwood and Cheviot Hills and was formed when Olympic Boulevard separated it from Westwood. Along with Olympic Boulevard, other major thoroughfares include Sepulveda Boulevard, Pico Boulevard, Beverly Glen Boulevard and the Santa Monica freeway.

According to an LA Times report, the median family income is $78,116 and the population is 5,464. the neighborhood is quiet and offers a suburban feel even with its close proximity to downtown. It is one of the few areas in Los Angeles where fall foliage can been seen, thanks to the mature deciduous trees in the area.

Trulia.com’s website shows that the average listing price for a home in the Rancho Park is $1,314,089, while sale prices are markedly lower at $986,500. Insurance costs are about average for that area of California, though the amount of rehabbing that a home has experienced is a determining factor. Rancho Park is most known for it’s golf course. The Rancho Park Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 71 championship golf course. The junior record holder for the course is golfing great Tiger Woods, who set the record in 1989 at the age of 13.
