It sits between Westwood and Cheviot Hills and was formed when Olympic Boulevard separated it from Westwood. Along with Olympic Boulevard, other major thoroughfares include Sepulveda Boulevard, Pico Boulevard, Beverly Glen Boulevard and the Santa Monica freeway.

Insurance costs are about average for that area of California, though the amount of rehabbing that a home has experienced is a determining factor.
