Located southeast of Venice and north of Playa del Rey, Marina Del Rey, CA is an unincorporated community with a population of just under 8,900 people. The community is comprised of beach front homes, the marina which moors small boats and pleasure cruise vessels and high-rise condos, apartment buildings, hotels and restaurants. It is technically part of Los Angeles, but many parts of the community have a Marina del Rey ZIP code. It is located 6 miles from Los Angeles International Airport.
